surprisingly good stay

the location was convenient, near the town center and train station. a supermarket was very close, as were many restaurants. my room was on the ground floor, surprisingly large and very clean. the pub on-site had good beer, which i enjoyed one evening.
the main road was a bit noisy from my room (but it didn't bother me too much).

the staff were friendly and accommodating (always a bonus!), helping me with directions and local recommendations and making me feel welcomed .

my standard twin room was tidy and included comfortable beds. i appreciated that it was well kept. the room was also warm.

the staff arranged balloons and birthday banners (it was a pleasant surprise). they were very good too accommodate requests. they allowed storing bags in the reception area before check-in. the beds were comfortable.
i noticed a slight lack of attention to detail concerning wiring from the tv.
